PEI moves into a new Doral, Florida, headquarters with 180,000-square-foot warehouse.

Supreme International acquires Perry Ellis®, Manhattan® and John Henry®, becomes Perry Ellis International, stock symbol PERY.

PEI acquires iconic swim brand Jantzen® and the right to license Nike® Swim apparel. Original Penguin by Munsingwear menswear line introduced.

PEI acquires the Salant Corporation, which had been the PEI's largest licensee, creating one of the country’s largest men’s sportswear compamies.

PEI becomes the licensee for PGA TOUR®. Golf apparel becomes a cornerstone of PEI’s strategic focus.

PEI acquires surf & skate lifestyle brand Gotcha®, along with Tropical Sportswear International, adding Savane® and Farah®.
2007
PEI signs a license agreement with Levi Strauss & Co. for Dockers® jackets, coats and synthetic fleece.

PEI turns 40 and the street where the headquarters is located is designated George Feldenkreis Way by Miami-Dade County.

PEI strengthened its women’s contemporary footprint by acquiring Laundry by Shelli Segal, famous for its signature prints, and C&C California, known for its effortless, chic cotton essentials.

PEI acquires Rafaella Apparel Group, a women’s sportswear collection, and licenses Callaway golf apparel in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Ben Hogan® apparel brand is acquired. Callaway Golf licensing agreement expanded to encompass Latin America.
